Membership Criteria
Very Demanding for the Law Firm. And Very Reassuring for the Client.

The Your House Counsel® Membership Review Committee considers the following criteria in a candidate firm:

•  The firm’s lawyers have excellent reputations and deep experience in their practice areas.

•  The firm’s lawyers have received AV™ rating in
Martindale-Hubbell™ or comparable recognition.

•  Firms in insurance related practices are listed in the A.M. Best Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys.

•  The firm’s history is sound, displaying steady growth.

•  The firm’s fee structure is reasonable and fair.

•  The firm has incorporated;technology into its day-to-day operations.

•  The firm’s malpractice insurance has minimum limits;of $1 million.

•  The firm must provide its State Bar disciplinary history,including any grievances filed against the firm or disciplinary actions.

•  The firm must provide references.

When a firm has been accepted as a full, participating Member:

•  Member Firms must report all referrals made to fellow Members to enable the consortium to conduct a Client Satisfaction Survey.

•  Members must continually achieve a high degree of client satisfaction.

•  Member Firms are evaluated annually.
